On October 21, a meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Council for Business and Investment Development under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic with Dmitrij Euler, Head of Impact Analysis Group, and Bakyt Omurzakov, who is actively involved in research and analytical projects related to digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
The meeting was attended by Uluk Kydyrbaev, Head of the Secretariat, and experts of the Council. The discussion focused on the development of artificial intelligence technologies, their impact on the national economy, and opportunities to align AI with the priorities of public policy.
Special attention was given to potential areas of cooperation between government institutions, the private sector, and academia, including the creation of a dialogue platform on issues of ethics, data protection, and responsible use of AI.
Participants also highlighted the importance of engaging young professionals and universities—particularly Ala-Too University—in developing competencies and research in the field of digital technologies. Ideas were shared on organizing thematic events and applied studies aimed at developing recommendations for the effective use of AI in the socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Secretariat of the Council supports initiatives aimed at fostering innovation, strengthening human capital, and creating an enabling environment for a modern digital ecosystem in the Kyrgyz Republic.
